Our admissions procedure is simple. If, after visiting the school, you would like to reserve a place for your child, completing our Advance Entry Form does not bind you or the school but ensures you will have priority and helps us in our admissions planning.

Before admission, each child is usually seen and assessed; there is no formal admissions exam. It is the attitude of a child and his or her potential that is important.

Where possible, a child should visit Moffats a term or two before joining. This visit allows your child to meet our staff, other children of the same age and to be shown round. Children whose parents would like them to stay for the day, or overnight, as part of this visit are welcome.
