The Clee Hills
Firm favourites with children and staff. The Titterstone and Brown Clee offer great walking, the chance for exploring and light scrambling, and fantastic views from their summits.
Wyre Forest Another favourite for walking - see the article on a recent weekend walk. Woodland tracks to explore, a chance to get muddy, or play Pooh-sticks in the stream... and always the chance of coming across a herd of deer.
There is also a visitor centre at Callow Hill.
The Wrekin Our last visit to this famous Shropshire hill was on rather a misty day - as the photo shows!

The Long Mynd
A little further from the school, Carding Mill Valley provides a favourite venue for geography project work. The hill rises above the south Shropshire town of Church Stretton.
Other attractions
Telford Town Park With slides (see top right image), climbing pyramid (above), swings and obstacle course, this is a real hit for weekend outings.

Severn Valley Railway Running from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth, this steam railway runs along the Severn Valley, just a few miles from Moffats. The stations are beautiful, and well worth visits in themselves. Arley and Highley are nearby stops. Highley also has a country park.
Old Vicarage Activity Centre Based in Stottesdon, a short minibus drive from the school. Recent visits have seen the children climbing and abseiling, doing archery and air-rifle shooting.

Shipley's in Stourport-on-Severn (01299 877377) is part of an amusement centre; nearby is a park with swings, climbing frame, etc. - free entertainment to add to the day out.

West Midlands Safari Park on the A456 between Bewdley and Kidderminster.
