Moffats Choir Tour 2010

In April senior members of the Choir will again travel to the ancient city of Siena in Italy.

Following highly successful tours in 2007 and 2008, Moffats children will participate in a choral and cultural tour to Tuscany, joining the local Clara Harmonia group for a four-day workshop and singing Mass in the Basilica di San Domenico, Siena at the invitation of the Bishop.

“We are very excited to be getting ready again for our biennial tour,” said head of music Paul Engleheart. “This is a superb opportunity for the children - to sing, to take in the riches of Siena and Florence and, just as importantly, to get to know their Italian host families, many of whom are already old friends of Moffats.”

Fundraising for these tours has taken place over the last three years, including the music marathon.
