A magical day in Stoke

Moffats pupils enjoy a performance of The Magic Flute at the Regent Theatre

Eleven Moffats musicians accompanied student teacher Hannah Lucas and head of music Paul Engleheart to a performace of Mozart's "Magic Flute" given by the Glyndebourne Opera Touring Company in November.

The performance, specially arranged for schools, featured world-class singers.

"This was a truly special experience," said Paul. "The performance was out of the top drawer. The children will remember the day for a very long time."

The group is pictured outside the theatre, in front of the curtain and by the war memorial in Stoke.
