Moffats delivers traditional high-quality education in small classes. The
average class size is 12 pupils, so teachers can always explain work
and discuss it with children, one-to-one.

Moffats is a family-owned school that caters for the needs of boys and girls
between the ages of four and thirteen.
Younger children start in Little Moffats, moving into
the main school from age seven. Children aged upwards of seven generally join the main school directly.
For full details, please request our printed
prospectus or arrange a visit to our school.
Full and weekly boarding
is offered in the main school, and we provide extended hours of
care before and after the school day for day pupils.
We teach in small classes, following the Common Entrance syllabus,
preparing children for a wide range of senior schools. If children have
special needs, we can often provide the help they need, as long as they can
cope in the classroom.
The school is a community that encourages children to join in and
play their part as members. All senior staff, including
the headmaster Mark Daborn, are easily accessible
to parents and to children.
Music and drama are part of daily life at Moffats,
as are sport, which can include riding,
and a wide range of activities.
The school is located in its own beautiful 100-acre estate in the
south of rural Shropshire, within easy daily travelling distance of
Bridgnorth, Ludlow and Kidderminster.
There is no entrance examination. Our Bursar, Julian Engleheart, can
provide information on admissions, fees
and awards.
