A summer holiday to remember

Sailing at Moffats School Summer Camp

Moffats boys and girls have sailed in the Carrick Roads, built castles on St Just beach and stirred porridge for the last 61 years, and this summer was no different.

A recipe of all the above, liberally seasoned with outings to sandy beaches and the Minack Theatre, rowing up the creek, catching crabs from anchored dinghies, early morning swims, over-filled doorsteps (edible ones!) and gallons of beef stew … was once more enough to ensure that 13 more Moffats children (and numerous accompanying adults) had a summer holiday to remember.
