Our weekly outings this summer took the children to a variety of places, all in the West Midlands – so not too much time in the coach and plenty of time to have fun! We began at Cadbury World, which is always a winner, especially when you get the chance to make a lovely chocolatey mess!
A week later we went into the centre of Birmingham for a double treat: first, a concert in the wonderful Symphony Hall, and then an afternoon exploring the Sea Life Centre. The West Midland Safari is just on our doorstep, so we always include it, and it gives the children a chance to discuss issues such as conservation in class before daring themselves to go on all the rides.
Finally, we visited the fascinating Black Country Living Museum, where our students were praised for both their interest and their behaviour.
